Almost all praised the positive energy of the place, the music diversity and the accessibility of the event. We found a large number of foreigners come to the event and we received very good feedback from the bands. Their joy charged us a lot and gave us the energy to work for four days continuously. We also managed to deliver a festival lineup and content that was very well received by the public since day one. I think there have been a good energy coming from the whole team during the event.
I am excited about how my colleagues mobilized themselves and each other and about the dynamics that we had this year. We needed to deliver a successful edition, especially because of the conditions we had to face last year, when it rained nine days out of 11. I am pleased with how the seventh edition of the festival came out. The festival registered an attendance record right from the opening day, when more than 26,000 people filled the park for the duration of the day and more than 8,000 people watched enthusiastically the concert held on the Main Stage by bassist Marcus Miller (US). Throughout the festival, more than 100,000 people attended both concerts of jazz and the various activities prepared by the organizers and their partners. The seventh edition of Jazz in the Park ended yesterday evening after four extraordinary days when over 30 bands from around the world have got on the four stages located in Central Park, Cluj-Napoca, during the weekend (4-7 July).
